Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is a must-see for anyone visiting Canada. The falls are located on the border between Canada and the United States, and there are many different ways to view them. Visitors can take a boat ride to the base of the falls, or they can take a walk along one of the many trails that wind through the park. There are also several restaurants and cafes located near the falls, so visitors can enjoy a meal with a view.
Banff National Park
Banff National Park is another popular tourist destination in Canada. The park is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, elk, and bighorn sheep. There are also numerous hiking trails that wind through the park, so visitors can explore the wilderness at their own pace.
Canadian National Tower
The CN Tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Canada. The tower is located in downtown Toronto and offers stunning views of the city skyline. Visitors can take an elevator to the top of the tower to get a panoramic view of the city, or they can walk around the base of the tower for a closer look. There is also a famous restaurant located inside the tower, so visitors can enjoy a delicious meal while they enjoy the view.
Visitor Visa
In order to visit Canada, most people will need to have a visitor visa. However, some nationals of certain countries only require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada. A visitor visa is issued by the Canadian visa office and placed on one of the pages of the foreign national’s passport. The visa will specify the type of visa it is, the name of the visa holder, the date of issue and the expiry date, amongst other information. Most visitors are eligible to remain in Canada for up to 6 months at a time, however, upon your arrival, the border services officer can make the final decision. They may indicate a date you must leave by when they stamp your passport, if not then you may remain for 6 months from the date you entered – if your passport does not expire before.
