Employment Agreement: Must provide a completed, signed employment agreement to foreign workers.
Third-Party Representatives: Paid representatives must be authorized under IRPA.
Recruiters: Compliance with provincial/territorial requirements for recruiters is essential.
New Employers: Review required for employers without TFW history. Demonstrated efforts to prevent workplace abuse necessary.
Health Insurance: Private health insurance covering emergency medical care required in some provinces/territories, costs not recoverable from TFWs. Coverage aligned with TFWs’ work period.
