Why work in Canada?

The future is bright for those who want to make it in Canada. It is a vast country with a rich history of multiculturalism. For centuries, people from all over the world have migrated to Canada in search of a better life. Today, Canada is home to people from all walks of life, and its diversity is one of its greatest strengths. From the pristine wilderness of the Canadian Rocky Mountains to the bustling metropolis of Toronto, Canada has something to offer everyone. Whether you’re looking for a place to raise a family or start a business, Canada is a perfect choice. With its strong economy and welcoming attitude towards newcomers, Canada is a land of opportunity. Thus, if you are looking for a place to call home, Canada is a perfect choice.

Here are some of the reasons why foreign workers are choosing to study in Canada:

Residents of Canada enjoy access to universal healthcare.

Canada’s well known reputation as a safe, secure, and welcoming country.

Canada’s multicultural diversity includes people of different races, national or ethnic origins, religious beliefs, lifestyles and sexual orientations.

Canada has the 9th largest economy in the world according to the 2022 GDP ranking.

Work Permit

Most foreign nationals who wish to apply for a work permit will require a job offer supported by a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) prior to applying. The LMIA is intended to protect Canada’s existing workforce; employers looking to hire a Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) must prove to the government of Canada that they were unable to hire a qualified Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Once a positive LMIA is issued, the qualified TFW may then apply for a work permit. Work permits are issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

There are some exceptions where a positive LMIA or a job offer is not required, such as a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) holder, an intra-company transferee, international mobility program, or a spouse of a work or study permit holder, etc. Acquiring a work permit in Canada is a great way to develop the experience necessary to apply for permanent residency pathways such as the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Call us today to book your in-depth consultation to find out which pathway is the best choice for you and your family.

Benefits of hiring an expert

A work permit application is much more than just filling out forms, we use our expertise to provide evidence and additional information from our experience with dealing with Canadian immigration officials. We conduct legal research, cite case law and include a legal submission advocating for your application’s approval. Hiring a highly skilled individual to handle your case takes away from the stress of the exhaustive immigration system.
